The Jungle Book

The Jungle Book finally came out a few days ago and I'm seriously happy to say that it was a wonderful story as well as visually stunning. I'm super happy to have worked on this with a ton of crazy talented people I love in an art department lead by the whimsical yet crass Christopher Glass.

I'm posting some of my favorite paintings here in no particular order. I'll add more paintings and some pencil sketches soon.

  3. This looks really beautiful...I watched the film last Saturday and I fell in love with de concept art, I am an ilustration student and I waited until the final credits to see who made it, I knew Michael Kutsche because I made a project based on him for class but I found your blog when I saw your name on the credits, really good work, I love it!

  4. Your art is absolutely beautiful!!! I just saw the film and had to purchase the art book. The experience literally brought me to tears! The visuals were so beautiful. Your team did such a good job of bringing the environments and characters to life. It was by far the best live action/CG film I have ever seen. I also love your painting technique and was blown away with every concept of yours that was published in the art book. It has inspired me to work on environment paintings more! Keep up the awesome work!! I cant wait to see more.
